New Business Programmes for 2019

We have 2 Business strands for learners who are interested in pursuing studies in this area. The first strand of qualifications which is provided by SKILLS NZ, is based on leadership and management components. Our second generic Business pathway is in association with AIS (Auckland Institute of Studies). This qualification will lead you into areas of specialization in Accounting, Management and Marketing.

BUSINESS STRAND 1

101.1 SKILLS NZ New Zealand Certificate in Business (Introduction to Team Leadership)Level 3    

If you’re a business owner, manager, team leader or employee wanting to improve your leadership skills, this programme is for you. The NZ Certificate in Business Level 3 is an introductory leadership programme that will give you the skills and knowledge to lead a team effectively. Start date: 18 March, 2019                     

101.2  SKILLS NZ   New Zealand Certificate in Business (First Line Management) Level 4   

This programme is designed for managers looking to deepen their management skills so that they can improve business operations or take the next step in their careers. It teaches managers the skills they need to draw out the best in their teams, to communicate effectively with stakeholders and how to create culturally inclusive environments. They will also gain practical administration and financial management skills, to help them manage their everyday responsibilities more effectively.

101.6  SKILLS NZ   Introduction to Small Business Level 3

This programme is designed specifically for people wanting to open a small business. It covers key processes that new start ups need to consider when first starting out. Key areas covered include identifying opportunities, testing their feasibility, building a business plan and more.

BUSINESS STRAND 2

101.3 AIS ( Auckland Institute of Studies) Business Studies   Level 5

Our business programme in conjunction with AIS provides students the opportunity to study a generic course with pathways into the following specialisations; Accounting, Management or Marketing.

101.4 AIS NZ Diploma in Hospitality Management Level 5

These programme is for learners who are interested in studying hospitality. It includes 7 compulsory units with 4 units that are also part of our Diploma in Tourism and Travel, Level 5 qualification.

101.5 AIS NZ Diploma in Tourism and Travel Level Level 5

These programme is for learners who are interested in studying tourism and travel. It includes 7 compulsory units with 4 units that are also part of our Diploma in Hospitality Management Level 5 qualification.
